Is Your Business a Good Fit?
Long Family Markets is local first. Participating businesses should generally be located within 100 miles of the market they wish to attend. Limited exceptions may be considered when a product cannot reasonably be grown, produced or sourced within our region.
Grown or Raised
Farms and agricultural producers are the heart of our markets. Produce, meat, eggs, plants, flowers, honey and other farm products help keep agriculture central to the marketplace.
Made or Prepared
We welcome food producers, bakers, artisans and makers whose products add quality and variety to the marketplace.
Products That Fit
Not every product fits neatly into a category. We consider businesses individually and may make thoughtful exceptions when a product or business adds something valuable that isn’t otherwise available within our local region.
Before You Apply
Application Review – Every application is reviewed individually. An invitation to apply and previous participation does not guarantee acceptance.
Market Fit – Acceptance depends on product fit, business location, current market needs, available space and category availability. Our intent is to avoid product duplication to keep the marketplace profitable for all participants.
Licenses & Insurance – Participating Businesses are responsible for maintaining all licenses, permits, certifications and insurance required for their business and products.
Application Fee – Application fees are based on participation history with Long Family Markets and will be confirmed after your application request is submitted. Payment of an application fee does not guarantee acceptance.
